For those occupied by the owners, average number of rooms is 6, 3 of which are bedrooms. On the other hand, apartments occupied by renters have an average of 4 rooms, 2 of which are bedrooms. The median house value is $289,300.

The cities that make up Clark County are: Las Vegas, Boulder City, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Mesquite. The townships or census-designated places are: Arden, Blue Diamond, Bunkerville, Cactus Springs, Cal-Nev-Ari, Cottonwood Cove, Enterprise, Glendale, Goodsprings, Indian Springs, Jean, Laughlin, Logandale, Moapa Town, Moapa Valley, Mount Charleston, Mountain Springs, Nelson (or Nelson Landing), Overton, Paradise, Primm, Sandy Valley, Searchlight, Sloan, Spring Valley, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor, Whitney and Winchester.
Economy/Tourism
Clark County is one of the country’s biggest tourist destinations, especially the Las Vegas Strip area. About 35-40% of the workers in the county are employed by gaming and/or leisure-related businesses. As such, major tourist attractions include the casinos and hotels in the Strip and the surrounding areas.
Shopping/Entertainment
As it is home to the world’s entertainment capital, people are assured of world-class entertainment and shopping in Clark County. The Las Vegas Strip has sprawling resort hotels, shopping malls and entertainment venues (such as Caesars Palace, Mandalay Bay). Las Vegas is truely famous as one of the few cities in the U.S. that offers a multitude of upscale retail stores from major fashion designers in one, concentrated area. Major highways that lead to and from Clark County include Interstates 15, 215 and 515; US Routes 93 and 95; Nevada State Routes 157, 159 and 160; and County Route 215.
Parks & Recreation
There is no shortage of activities in Clark County with its numerous parks (dog parks, skate parks, etc.) and recreation facilities. Sunset Park, one of the largest in the state, has amenities ideal for picnics, sightseeing and special events.
Medical Schools/Facilities
Clark County has a total of 39 medical facilities, and has Southern Nevada’s only public hospital, the University Medical Center. The Clark County School District provides public education for elementary and secondary levels. Universities and colleges in the county include the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Nevada State College and College of Southern Nevada.
